In the age of President Donald Trump, right-wing conspiracy theories have more carrying power on the internet than ever before.

But one of the largest purveyors did not start out that way. On Friday, The Daily Beast profiled Natural News, which is today crammed to the brim with pro-Trump content — but began its life as an online store and health website

Democrats in the House flexing oversight power against President Trump announcing new hearings on the Mueller report and a new, separate vote to hold Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt of Congress. This action coming as Democrats debate how to punish Trump aides stonewalling investigations — even calling for arrests.

The site’s founder, Mike Adams, recently called on Trump to “invoke the Insurrection Act to save America from lawless ‘enemies within’ who threaten our constitutional republic,” including “corrupt liberal judges who defy the President’s orders to secure the U.S. border” and “journo-terrorists who pretend to be journalists but are actually anti-American traitors.”

Adams has always entertained fringe theories. Before founding Natural News in 2005, he owned a mass email list in the 90s called Y2K Newswire, predicting mass computer malfunctions and a global apocalypse and bundling a “one year basic food unit” into his $569 annual subscription.

He also sold gold coins at a marked-up price.

Originally, Natural News was devoted to articles about health and nutrition — and although it purveyed fake news from the very beginning, with unsubstantiated claims about GMO toxicity, vaccine skepticism, “chemtrails,” and the promotion of questionable supplements and products, its conspiracy theories weren’t necessarily right-wing.

In the Obama years, however, the site gradually shifted in tone, becoming more political and taking on a tone similar to Alex Jones’ InfoWars. Indeed, similar to Jones, Adams has also targeted victims of mass shootings, at one point launching a site called “Hoggwatch” to attack David Hogg, the teenage activist who survive the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.

“We are blessed to have Donald J. Trump as our President as America faces off against treasonous actors, deep state traitors and authoritarian globalists who despise this nation and what it stands for,”

Adams concluded in one of his recent articles.

Senior intelligence officials are warning the Western world that Russia’s interference in the 2016 US election was an escalation of aggression that is likely to continue.

Robert Hannigan, the former head of UK signals intelligence service GCHQ, has told Four Corners further attacks from Vladimir Putin are probable.

“As long as Putin can’t address Russian economic problems, he’s probably going to be tempted to wrap himself in the flag of nationalism even more firmly and to do more foreign adventures. I hope not, but I fear that might be the case,” he said.

Dan Hoffman, former CIA station chief in Moscow, says this new threat from Russia should not be underestimated.

“As dangerous as things were between our countries during the Cold War, as much risk as there was of conflict, you might argue that we’re in a worse place today,” he told Four Corners.

Mr Hoffman’s scrutiny of Russian actions during the 2016 election campaign has led him to conclude that sophisticated spycraft was at play.

He points to the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting, which he says was a deliberately discoverable Russian operation.

“I think what Vladimir Putin was thinking is the best way to soil our Democratic processes, link the Trump campaign in some conspiratorial way, because it’s Russia, back to the Kremlin.”

Two years on from that meeting, President Donald Trump and his team are still being investigated over allegations of Russian collusion.

Mr Hoffman told Four Corners this chaos was Mr Putin’s plan all along.

In June 2016, senior members of Mr Trump’s election campaign team including the President’s son Don Junior and son-in-law Jared Kushner, agreed to meet with several Russians in Trump Tower.

They had been promised they would receive “incriminating information” about then-presidential rival Hillary Clinton.

James Clapper, Barack Obama’s director of national intelligence, told Four Corners the Trump team’s willingness to work with the Russians is telling.

“What it reflects is an interest in collusion, whether anything came of it that’s yet to be determined, but I do wonder whether that’s just one vignette that became public and were there other such encounters? I don’t know,” he said.

At the June 9 meeting, Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya gave the Trump team a memo which included unproven allegations of wrongdoing by donors to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

This was far from the explosive information that had been promised.

Ms Veselnitskaya told Four Corners she was meeting with the Trump team on private business for a client.

But she had discussed the information with Yuri Chaika, the general prosecutor of Russia and one of the most powerful figures in the Putin regime.

“I personally reported this to Mr Chaika, I don’t know exactly, but many, many months before this meeting,” she told Four Corners.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election has finally been released, at least in part. The long-awaited report was made public on the Justice Department’s website on Thursday, April 18, with some redactions.

The report is more than 400 pages long. It’s divided into two volumes. Volume I deals with the investigation into collaboration (“collusion”) between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election. Volume II addresses whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice while in office. (Here are four key things to look for in the Mueller report now that it’s been released.)

The morning before the reported was released, Attorney General Bill Barr gave a press conference summarizing his assessment of Mueller’s conclusions — giving the impression that he was trying to spin the report in favor of Trump before anyone could read it.

In an interview with CNN’s Christine Amanpour, German Chancellor Angela Merkel both lamented and warned the rise of “dark forces,” in Europe, decrying a surge in nationalism that threatens the continent in a way that echoes Germany’s Nazi past.

Speaking with the CNN host who called Merkel the “face of good Germans,” the German leader noted that citizens of her country should know better than to fall prey to extremism.

“In Germany, obviously, they always have to be seen in a certain context, in the context of our past, which means we have to be that much more vigilant than others,” she explained.

“There’s not a single day care center for Jewish children, not a single school for Jewish children, that does not need to be guarded by German policemen, she continued before adding, “We have to face up to the past. We have to tell our young people what history has brought over us and others, and these horrors.”

“[That’s] why article one of our basic law, human dignity is inviolable, is so important. it has to be taught to every generation,” she concluded. “You’re right, the task has become harder, but it needs to be done.”

AMY GOODMAN: Today, a Democracy Now! special, an hour with Noam Chomsky, the world-renowned dissident and father of modern linguistics. In April, Noam Chomsky visited his hometown of Boston, where he was a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for more than half a century. He now teaches at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Over 700 people packed into the Old South Church to hear him speak. Later in the broadcast, we’ll air my on-stage interview with him, but first we turn to his speech.

NOAM CHOMSKY: If you’ll indulge me, I’d like to start with a brief reminiscence of a period which is eerily similar to today in many unpleasant respects. I’m thinking of exactly 80 years ago, almost to the day, happened to be the moment of the first article that I remember having written on political issues. Easy to date: It was right after the fall of Barcelona in February 1939.

The article was about what seemed to be the inexorable spread of fascism over the world. In 1938, Austria had been annexed by Nazi Germany. A few months later, Czechoslovakia was betrayed, placed in the hands of the Nazis at the Munich Conference. In Spain, one city after another was falling to Franco’s forces. February 1939, Barcelona fell. That was the end of the Spanish Republic.

The remarkable popular revolution, anarchist revolution, of 1936, ’37, ’38, had already been crushed by force. It looked as if fascism was going to spread without end.

It’s not exactly what’s happening today, but, if we can borrow Mark Twain’s famous phrase,

“History doesn’t repeat but sometimes rhymes.” Too many similarities to overlook.

When Barcelona fell, there was a huge flood of refugees from Spain. Most went to Mexico, about 40,000. Some went to New York City, established anarchist offices in Union Square, secondhand bookstores down 4th Avenue. That’s where I got my early political education, roaming around that area. That’s 80 years ago. Now it’s today.

We didn’t know at the time, but the U.S. government was also beginning to think about how the spread of fascism might be virtually unstoppable. They didn’t view it with the same alarm that I did as a 10-year-old. We now know that the attitude of the State Department was rather mixed regarding what the significance of the Nazi movement was. Actually, there was a consul in Berlin, U.S. consul in Berlin, who was sending back pretty mixed comments about the Nazis, suggesting maybe they’re not as bad as everyone says.

He stayed there until Pearl Harbor Day, when he was withdrawn—famous diplomat named George Kennan. Not a bad indication of the mixed attitude towards these developments.

It turns out, couldn’t have known it at the time, but shortly after this, 1939, the State Department and the Council on Foreign Relations began to carry out planning about the postwar world, what would the postwar world look like. And in the early years, right about that time, next few years, they assumed that the postwar world would be divided between a German-controlled world, Nazi-controlled world, most of Eurasia, and a U.S.-controlled world, which would include the Western Hemisphere, the former British Empire, which the U.S. would take over, parts of the Far East. And that would be the shape of the postwar world.

Those views, we now know, were maintained until the Russians turned the tide. Stalingrad, 1942, the huge tank battle at Kursk, a little later, made it pretty clear that the Russians would defeat the Nazis. The planning changed. Picture of the postwar world changed, went on to what we’ve seen for the last period since that time. Well, that was 80 years ago.

Today we do not—we are not facing the rise of anything like Nazism, but we are facing the spread of what’s sometimes called the ultranationalist, reactionary international, trumpeted openly by its advocates, including Steve Bannon, the impresario of the movement.

Just had a victory yesterday: The Netanyahu election in Israel solidified the reactionary alliance that’s being established, all of this under the U.S. aegis, run by the triumvirate, the Trump-Pompeo-Bolton triumvirate—could borrow a phrase from George W. Bush to describe them, but, out of politeness, I won’t.

The Middle East alliance consists of the extreme reactionary states of the region—Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt under the most brutal dictatorship of its history, Israel right at the center of it—confronting Iran. Severe threats that we’re facing in Latin America.

The election of Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil put in power the most extreme, most outrageous of the right-wing ultranationalists who are now plaguing the hemisphere.

Yesterday, Lenín Moreno of Ecuador took a strong step towards joining the far-right alliance by expelling Julian Assange from the embassy. He’s picked up quickly by the U.S., will face a very dangerous future unless there’s a significant popular protest. Mexico is one of the rare exceptions in Latin America to these developments.

This has happened—in Western Europe, the right-wing parties are growing, some of them very frightening in character.

There is a counterdevelopment.

Yanis Varoufakis, the former finance minister of Greece, a very significant, important individual, along with Bernie Sanders, have urged the formation of the Progressive International to counter the right-wing international that’s developing.

At the level of states, the balance looks overwhelmingly in the wrong direction. But states aren’t the only entities. At the level of people, it’s quite different. And that could make the difference. That means a need to protect the functioning democracies, to enhance them, to make use of the opportunities they provide, for the kinds of activism that have led to significant progress in the past could save us in the future.

NOAM CHOMSKY: I want to make a couple of remarks below about the severe difficulty of maintaining and instituting democracy, the powerful forces that have always opposed it, the achievements of somehow salvaging and enhancing it, and the significance of that for the future. But first, a couple of words about the challenges that we face, which you heard enough about already and you all know about. I don’t have to go into them in detail. To describe these challenges as “extremely severe” would be an error. The phrase does not capture the enormity of the kinds of challenges that lie ahead. And any serious discussion of the future of humanity must begin by recognizing a critical fact, that the human species is now facing a question that has never before arisen in human history, question that has to be answered quickly: Will human society survive for long?

Well, as you all know, for 70 years we’ve been living under the shadow of nuclear war. Those who have looked at the record can only be amazed that we’ve survived this far. Time after time it’s come extremely close to terminal disaster, even minutes away. It’s kind of a miracle that we’ve survived. Miracles don’t go on forever. This has to be terminated, and quickly. The recent Nuclear Posture Review of the Trump administration dramatically increases the threat of conflagration, which would in fact be terminal for the species. We may remember that this Nuclear Posture Review was sponsored by Jim Mattis, who was regarded as too civilized to be retained in the administration—gives you a sense of what can be tolerated in the Trump-Pompeo-Bolton world.

Well, there were three major arms treaties: the ABM Treaty, Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty; the INF Treaty, Intermediate Nuclear Forces; the New START treaty.

The U.S. pulled out of the ABM Treaty in 2002. And anyone who believes that anti-ballistic missiles are defensive weapons is deluded about the nature of these systems.

The U.S. has just pulled out of the INF Treaty, established by Gorbachev and Reagan in 1987, which sharply reduced the threat of war in Europe, which would very quickly spread. The background of that signing of that treaty was the demonstrations that you just saw depicted on the film. Massive public demonstrations were the background for leading to a treaty that made a very significant difference. It’s worth remembering that and many other cases where significant popular activism has made a huge difference.

The lessons are too obvious to enumerate. Well, the Trump administration has just withdrawn from the INF Treaty; the Russians withdrew right afterwards. If you take a close look, you find that each side has a kind of a credible case saying that the opponent has not lived up to the treaty.

For those who want a picture of how the Russians might look at it, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, the major journal on arms control issues, had a lead article a couple weeks ago by Theodore Postol pointing out how dangerous the U.S. installations of anti-ballistic missiles on the Russian border—how dangerous they are and can be perceived to be by the Russians. Notice, on the Russian border. Tensions are mounting on the Russian border.

Both sides are carrying out provocative actions. We should—in a rational world, what would happen would be negotiations between the two sides, with independent experts to evaluate the charges that each is making against the other, to lead to a resolution of these charges, restore the treaty.

That’s a rational world. But it’s unfortunately not the world we’re living in. No efforts at all have been made in this direction.

And they won’t be, unless there is significant pressure.

Well, that leaves the New START treaty. The New START treaty has already been designated by the figure in charge, who has modestly described himself as the greatest president in American history—he gave it the usual designation of anything that was done by his predecessors: the worst treaty that ever happened in human history; we’ve got to get rid of it. If in fact—this comes up for renewal right after the next election, and a lot is at stake.

A lot is at stake in whether that treaty will be renewed. It has succeeded in very significantly reducing the number of nuclear weapons, to a level way above what they ought to be but way below what they were before. And it could go on.

Well, meanwhile, global warming proceeds on its inexorable course. During this millennium, every single year, with one exception, has been hotter than the last one.

There are recent scientific papers, James Hansen and others, which indicate that the pace of global warming, which has been increasing since about 1980, may be sharply escalating and may be moving from linear growth to exponential growth, which means doubling every couple of decades. We’re already approaching the conditions of 125,000 years ago, when the sea level was about roughly 25 feet higher than it is today, with the melting, the rapid melting, of the Antarctic, huge ice fields.

We might—that point might be reached. The consequences of that are almost unimaginable. I mean, I won’t even try to depict them, but you can figure out quickly what that means.

Well, meanwhile, while this is going on, you regularly read in the press euphoric accounts of how the United States is advancing in fossil fuel production. It’s now surpassed Saudi Arabia. We’re in the lead of fossil fuel production. The big banks, JPMorgan Chase and others, are pouring money into new investments in fossil fuels, including the most dangerous, like Canadian tar sands. And this is all presented with great euphoria, excitement. We’re now reaching energy independence. We can control the world, determine the use of fossil fuels in the world.

Barely a word on what the meaning of this is, which is quite obvious. It’s not that the reporters, commentators don’t know about it, that the CEO of the banks don’t know about it. Of course they do. But these are kind of institutional pressures that just are extremely hard to extricate themselves from.

You can put yourself in the—try to put yourself in the position of, say, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, the biggest bank, which is spending large sums in investment in fossil fuels. He certainly knows everything that you all know about global warming. It’s no secret.

But what are the choices?

Basically he has two choices. One choice is to do exactly what he’s doing. The other choice is to resign and be replaced by somebody else who will do exactly what he’s doing. It’s not an individual problem. It’s an institutional problem, which can be met, but only under tremendous public pressure.

And we’ve recently seen, very dramatically, how it can—how the solution can be reached. A group of young people, Sunrise Movement, organized, got to the point of sitting in in congressional offices, aroused some interest from the new progressive figures who were able to make it to Congress. Under a lot of popular pressure, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, joined by Ed Markey, actually placed the Green New Deal on the agenda. That’s a remarkable achievement. Of course, it gets hostile attacks from everywhere: It doesn’t matter. A couple of years ago it was unimaginable that it would be discussed. As the result of the activism of this group of young people, it’s now right in the center of the agenda. It’s got to be implemented in one form or another. It’s essential for survival, maybe not in exactly that form, but some modification of it. Tremendous change achieved by the commitment of a small group of young people. That tells you the kind of thing that can be done.

Meanwhile, the Doomsday Clock of the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists last January was set at two minutes to midnight. That’s the closest it’s been to terminal disaster since 1947.

The announcement of the settlement—of the setting mentioned the two major familiar threats: the threat of nuclear war, which is increasing, threat of global warming, which is increasing further. And it added a third for the first time: the undermining of democracy. That’s the third threat, along with global warming and nuclear war.

And that was quite appropriate, because functioning democracy offers the only hope of overcoming these threats. They are not going to be dealt with by major institutions, state or private, acting without massive public pressure, which means that the means of democratic functioning have to be kept alive, used the way the Sunshine Movement did it, the way the great mass demonstration in the early ’80s did it, and the way we continue today.

I’m Amy Goodman. We return to Noam Chomsky’s appearance at the Old South Church in Boston on April 11th. After he addressed the crowd of over 700 people, I had a chance to conduct an on-stage interview with the world-renowned dissident and father of modern linguistics. I began by asking him about WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange, who had been arrested earlier in the day.

He had been taken out by British authorities of the Ecuadorean Embassy in London, where he had political asylum for almost seven years.

NOAM CHOMSKY: Well, the Assange arrest is scandalous in several respects. One of them is just the effort of governments—and it’s not just the U.S. government. The British are cooperating. Ecuador, of course, is now cooperating. Sweden, before, had cooperated. The efforts to silence a journalist who was producing materials that people in power didn’t want the rascal multitude to know about—OK?—that’s basically what happened. WikiLeaks was producing things that people ought to know about those in power. People in power don’t like that, so therefore we have to silence it. OK? This is the kind of thing, the kind of scandal, that takes place, unfortunately, over and over.

To take another example, right next door to Ecuador, in Brazil, where the developments that have gone on are extremely important. This is the most important country in Latin America, one of the most important in the world. Under the Lula government early in this millennium, Brazil was the most—maybe the most respected country in the world. It was the voice for the Global South under the leadership of Lula da Silva. Notice what happened. There was a coup, soft coup, to eliminate the nefarious effects of the labor party, the Workers’ Party. These are described by the World Bank—not me, the World Bank—as the “golden decade” in Brazil’s history, with radical reduction of poverty, a massive extension of inclusion of marginalized populations, large parts of the population—Afro-Brazilian, indigenous—who were brought into the society, a sense of dignity and hope for the population. This, in order to silence the person who was likely to win the election. He’s the most important political prisoner in the world. Do you hear anything about it?

Well, Assange is a similar case: We’ve got to silence this voice. You go back to history.

SOME PEOPLE CAN’T GET PAST IT….

In case you didn’t read Part One, I highly recommend it. We are discussing Q Anon briefings from September 19th confirming the existence of Secret Space Programs.

This is a tremendous development that suggests disclosure could be much bigger and better than many of us thought.

In my previous article from September 8th, I made it very clear that I supported Obama when he was pushing for disclosure, just as I now support the Alliance initiative working through Trump.

The Cabal is suppressing technologies that can resolve every single crisis that plagues our planet at this time.

We are already an interstellar, Star Trek civilization, with stargate and super-light-speed “warp drive” capability.

We are already interacting with hundreds of different species of extraterrestrials.

All along, I have seen Trump as the “battering ram” that was necessary to smash through the overwhelmingly violent resistance to disclosure that exists.

The “Fearless Dominance” and strong motivation to be the best, and make history, have somehow led to him doing this.

IT IS A FIGHT TO THE DEATH

MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell explained on Thursday that acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker could be facing federal prison time for obstruction of justice if he interferes with special counsel Robert Mueller.

“The question for Matthew Whitaker, who now occupies the Attorney General’s office of the Justice Department, is does he think he can get away with interfering in Robert Mueller’s investigation of the president?” O’Donnell asked. “We know that’s what the president wants him to do.”

The segment aired the same day over 1,000 #ProtectMueller protests were held to defend the special counsel investigation.

“Donald Trump is that peculiar kind of criminally-minded person who publicly declares his criminal intent,” O’Donnell noted. “He has said he wants an attorney general who will work for him personally, who will protect him personally, who will obstruct justice for him personally — if necessary — and not work for the American people and not protect justice.”

O’Donnell laid out the relevant questions about Whitaker’s intelligence that are now critical.

“Is Matthew Whitaker smart enough to know that he is going to have to testify under oath to the House Judiciary Committee about any interference that he might try to engage in with the Mueller investigation?” he wondered.

“Is Matthew Whitaker smart enough to know that there is a five-year statute of limitations on the federal crime of obstruction of justice?” he wondered. “And that the next Democratic attorney general, who will probably be chosen during the presidential transition two years from now, will be empowered to immediately investigate every suspicious thing that Matthew Whitaker might be foolish enough to do as Donald Trump’s fake attorney general?”

“So how smart is Matthew Whitaker? How stupid is Matthew Whitaker?” he asked. “How reckless is Matthew Whitaker?”

“Judging by his previous public comments as a right-wing pundit, he sounds like the kind of guy who could get himself in serious criminal trouble,” O’Donnell concluded.

It should be very obvious to everyone that the mainstream media is in an absolute fight to the death with this administration.

One of the latest examples of this was the incredibly nasty fight surrounding the appointment of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, which went through on October 7th.

Unless you carefully follow alternative media, you might naturally believe Kavanaugh was a dangerous, sadistic rapist.

 

 

The Q Anon briefings made it clear that these were calculated, false smear attempts, since Kavanaugh was essential to the mass arrests working successfully.

With his presence on the Supreme Court, Q Anon indicated that the arrests can now move through without being obstructed.

Benjamin Fulford pointed out that the Arch of Ba’al was erected in Washington, DC just as this nasty fight reached its peak.

 

 

This appeared to be another example of the satanic elites using “ritual magic” in an attempt to empower their plans.

[This arch is also one of the most common “Illuminati symbols” that gets deliberately planted into a wide variety of Hollywood films, once you know what you’re looking for.

As one homework assignment, count how many times the arch appears in the movie Devil’s Advocate.]

THINKING THE UNTHINKABLE

The idea that Christine Blasey Ford could have been lying about Kavanaugh might have been completely insane to most people, particularly those on the left.

Nonetheless, there was abundant proof that she was lying about multiple things in her testimony, as this October 2nd article argued.

On September 29th, the Senate Judiciary Committee also caught someone else lying about Kavanaugh, only to later recant his false claims on a social media post.

This person could very well have been paid or otherwise influenced to say the things he said, before experiencing such a huge backlash.

We are not going into too much detail on these stories, for now, so I recommend studying the above links if you are not aware of these counter-arguments.

Again, you don’t have to like any of these characters. At all. What I do think you should like is the idea of Full Disclosure.

THE ONLY THING THEY COULD AGREE UPON WAS SECRECY

Up until the 2016 election victory happened, the opposing candidates in previous elections were really nothing more than Wrestlemania.

In the debates, they appeared to be against each other. However, just like at a carnival, after the match they laugh and drink beer together.

It’s like a classic saying one of my insiders loved to use in our conversations.

It starts with a question: “I can guarantee with 100 percent precision who will win the next Super Bowl. You want to know who it is?”

“Sure,” I said.

“The NFL!”

The equivalent, in this case, would have been, “Who will win the next election?”

“The Deep State!”

NEVER BREAK THE ‘KAYFABE’

In carnival terms, this idea of a staged conflict between business associates is called “Kayfabe,” which is an encoded term for “Be Fake.”

Opposing carnival wrestlers are taught they must NEVER “Break the Kayfabe.” Any time they are seen in public by anyone, they must appear to hate each other.

If anyone gets wind of what is really going on, the carnival will quickly be confronted by police for fraud, shut down and run out of town.

Wrestling also has an assigned role for each character: There is the “Face” and the “Heel.”

 

 

 

The “Face” looks better, and deliberately tells the townspeople how amazing their village is. The more loved he is, the better.

The “Heel” is less attractive, and deliberately insults the town and its people — or at least some of them.

His job is to get the audience as close to a violent riot as possible, without having them actually erupt into physical violence.

Then, when the Heel appears to be defeated by the Face in the wrestling match, everyone cheers… and feels like they got their money’s worth.

 

 

THE 2016 ELECTION IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE

The Deep State’s plan for the 2016 election, in light of this Carnival Logic, was very simple: Hillary was the “Face,” and Jeb Bush was the “Heel.”

Hundreds of millions of dollars were invested in Jeb’s campaign. They were serious about it.

Jeb did not have the looks, charisma, public speaking chops or magnetism of Hillary. That was the point. He was the Heel.

The Deep State knew they had complete control of both candidates. Even in the unlikely event that the “Heel” won, who still won the Election?

The Deep State.

The media continued to attack Trump the entire time, making it look as if he didn’t even have a chance to beat Jeb, much less any of the others.

Each new leap forward he made in his candidacy was seen as a total shock. Yet he still won. Somehow.

So much hate has been piled upon him since then that it may be nearly impossible for people to see anything else.

 

THE NEGATIVE HAS BEEN FOCUSED ON SO MASSIVELY….

The media has been in a non-stop assault against Trump ever since he joined the race, and particularly after it looked like he might win the Republican nomination.

If you hear enough negative stuff about someone for a long-enough period of time, you’re probably going to hate them just because you’re so sick of it.

Now you can’t even speak about anything other than the “official” party line of the mainstream media without being censored.

‘Defamation’ is false information that has been deliberately fabricated to attack someone’s reputation.

Slander is spoken defamation, and libel is written defamation.

The amount of slander and libel that is occurring in this case, directly from a media that is supposed to be unbiased by law, is absolutely staggering.

 

THIS MIGHT BE VERY TOUGH… BUT….

For just a moment, try this exercise. You may not like it. At all. But just think about it. Without using names, just consider the concepts.

You have more money than you could ever imagine. Your family is set for life. You are a celebrity. A billionaire.

You can do anything you want. You can live safely and protect your family.

For some reason, you willingly decide to take on a mission that is almost certain death — for you and your entire family.

The assassination threats will be overwhelming and constant. The level of hate that will be directed at you will be nearly unprecedented in Earth’s history.

You know you are not a perfect person. Issues from your past will inevitably come up that will be deeply disparaging and humiliating, if not damning, once revealed.

Your goal is to hold off the trouble for as long as you can, so you can complete the mission — and stay alive in the process.

The tension with your spouse is extraordinary. The in-fighting with your closest associates, along with the betrayals, is non-stop.

The media turns against you more extremely than any other figure in recorded history. Yet you still keep going.

 

CONSIDER THE ALLIANCE’S INTENTIONS….

The Alliance’s efforts date back to at least the Korean War, at which time the five-inch-thick binder called “The Plan” was created, as we discussed in the previous article, now with over 700,000 views.

The Alliance was aware that we were dealing with a genocidal, bloodthirsty cabal of individuals worshiping ancient gods and seeking to create total misery and death on earth.

Top generals were on the verge of doing mass arrests during the Obama administration.

We have been passing along multiple Alliance briefings about potential mass arrests ever since 2009, and it was extremely serious.

At the time it would have been severely traumatic, and would have looked like a literal military coup against the United States leadership.

The Deep State was aware enough of the Alliance that the Alliance was under constant attack. This included massive financial problems.

It was very much like the story of the Founding Fathers of the United States in that sense. The Alliance did NOT have a strong asset base.

I did not gain that information in briefings until fairly recently, and it helped to explain a LOT of things for me.

 

NO OTHER CHOICE

Donald Trump was apparently approached by the Alliance because he was only one they could find who had any chance of carrying out their mission:

1. He was an existing celebrity who was already popular with many people;

2. He had enough money to finance his own campaign without being bought out by special interests;

3. He was not personally involved in any of the most depraved acts of the Deep State, based on advanced Alliance surveillance;

4. He had a very strong sense of self, which would be necessary in the face of a hatred unprecedented in world history;

5. He had the qualities of “Fearless Dominance” necessary to face almost certain death against a murderous cabal.

 

Again… where so many people are getting hung up is that this is NOT all about the president. He is just one person in a much greater effort.

He has made outrageous gaffes that I would never dream of saying, publicly or privately, in a million years.

It is amazing that he hasn’t cracked any farther considering the awesome, worldwide pressure he is facing.

Trump was simply chosen to participate in a particular role within a vastly larger operation, which far predates him.

The Alliance attempted to coordinate with Obama to do disclosure as well, but Obama succumbed to the murderous pressure of the Deep State.

No one can accuse me of taking political sides here. My side is for Disclosure. I support whoever can actually make that happen.

And just like I said about the Law of One crew and my own insiders in Part One, deeply flawed people can still do things that contribute to disclosure.

 

IT’S NOT A DISNEY MOVIE

Real life is not like a Disney movie. We don’t get perfect, crowd-pleasing heroes who perfectly embody every part of the hero archetype.

Thus we seem to be in a highly surreal situation right now, which in this case also stirs up bizarre ancestral memories of quirky kings from aeons past.

The amount of hate we see on a daily basis is utterly sickening, and deeply traumatic. If you believe everything the Cabal is putting out, things have never been worse.

It would appear that we are in a true All is Lost point, globally.

On the spiritual level, this is allowing everyone to process memories in the deep subconscious — from other lifetimes on earth.

These historical cycles are very important for the practice of forgiveness and soul evolution, as I argue in The Synchronicity Key.

Patterns of events keep repeating and repeating, in very precise cycles of time, until we integrate the lessons they offer.

These lessons invariably revolve around the concept of forgiveness of self and others.

 

THE WHOLE THING SEEMS QUITE PONDEROUS….

Again, I have to laugh, as until I got the briefings and saw what the Alliance was doing, I would have never had a single good thing to say about Donald Trump.

There are still a huge number of things that have happened that upset me. Statements and decisions that made me cringe.

Public gaffes that are so outrageous I would audibly groan when I saw them. And so on. You’ve probably had the same experiences. They keep happening.

The media has tried to make it so that there is no middle ground. You are either a “Trump-Tard” or you wildly hate the man.

Anyone who even attempted to create any type of “Middle Path” was immediately and wildly attacked, defamed and shut down.

It amazes me how wildly some people hate me for simply being optimistic about the idea that this administration might fulfill the Alliance’s long-standing plan for Full Disclosure.

And with the awesome purges going on, the media elite are literally trying to make it impossible for you to hear any dissenting opinions.

That should also give you something to think about, if you can step back, take a breath and think differently for a moment.

 

SO HOW DO WE TURN AROUND THE WHOLE RUSSIA NARRATIVE….

The controlled media fought valiantly to argue that Trump didn’t actually win the popular vote.

Instead, the spoon-fed media sound-bite was that he must have ‘stolen’ the election. How?

Russia. Russia! RUSSIA!!!!

The great old nuclear enemy of the United States, back at it for one more title fight, gunning for the championship belt — the total control of America.

Russia… who made up all this really evil stuff about our Holy Immaculate Mother, Hillary, and smeared it all over the internet.

The irony of this was that most people didn’t like Hillary either. For many, it was a choice between two deeply flawed candidates.

Again… if the Democrats really wanted to pick the most likely candidate to win, it would have been Bernie Sanders. He was FAR cleaner and vastly more likable.

Hillary was very unpopular. She was caught in countless, provable crimes that dwarfed Watergate by orders of magnitude.

Yet, the Deep State knew it had to be her. It was surreal in the extreme to watch how she was shoved down our throats.

 

WHAT’S WORSE, YOU CAN’T EVEN TALK ABOUT IT!

If you still have a hard time thinking anything positive could be happening with this administration, consider this.

The Deep State is now fighting so hard that you literally can’t even talk about this administration in any positive way, and be heard online.

The only way you can still have freedom of speech at this point is to run your own website on a private server and have a loyal, long-term following, like what is happening here.

Anything else, including a site where you have a sub-domain within a larger domain name, is utterly and completely vulnerable.

And if you are writing on any large social media platform or doing videos on YouTube, forget it. You’re done.

There is a massive, ongoing, non-stop bloodbath of censorship against ANYONE who dares to say anything that is other than total negativity.

Jack Dorsey followed it up by banning many of the same independent news sites and the journalists who ran them on Twitter.

The pages included The Free Thought Project, Press For Truth, Anti-Media, Cop Block, Filming Cops, Counter Current News, Right Wing News, Noisy Room, Gun Laws Don’t Work, Reverb Press, Nation in Distress, Clash Daily, Voluntaryist Veterans and many more.

 

If you are totally OK with reading the above, seeing this like a sports game in which the side you hate is losing, then you are missing the point.

We have a coordinated operation between mainstream media and social media tyrants literally conducting the largest mass censorship in recorded history.

Let’s say you hate Trump, hate the right, hate the whole thing. Are you still cool with it going this far?

Don’t you feel educated and powerful enough to make your own decisions about what to believe, without having dissenting opinions forcefully sanitized — so your eyes never see them?

Here are five ways in which President Trump has conducted himself

like the leader of a corrupt banana republic.

1. Relentless Demonizing of the Press

In a democratic republic, the press is meant to serve as an aggressive watchdog—and most U.S. presidents have understood that, even when they felt the press was being unfair. President Barack Obama was visibly annoyed at Fox News at times, but he respected their 1st Amendment rights and realized that he wasn’t exempt from the media’s scrutiny. Trump, however, has repeatedly denounced the press as the energy of the people—even when CNN reporters were receiving death threats, even after the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

CNN reporter Jim Acosta, whose White House press credentials were revoked after the midterms, never received death threats before Trump’s presidency—now, Acosta has noted, he receives them regularly.

2. Undermining a Federal Criminal Investigation

In democracies, even sitting presidents are not exempt from the rule of law—which is why President Richard Nixon probably would have been removed from office via the impeachment process had he not resigned on August 8, 1974 (Trump faced articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives, but he stepped down before a Senate trial could come about).

Trump, however, views himself as exempt from the scrutiny of the U.S. Justice Department.

Furious with Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia-related investigation, Trump fired him after the 2018 midterms and replaced him with loyalist Matt Whitaker—who just happens to be an outspoken opponent of the investigation. This is very much the type of corrupt behavior one would expect from the leader of a banana republic.

3. Interference with Election Results and Voting Rights

Trump not only promotes blatant voter suppression in predominantly non-white areas that are more favorable to Democrats than Republicans—he also favors voiding election results that he disagrees with. Requesting a recount is perfectly legitimate; in the 2018 Florida Senate race, Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson wouldn’t concede to Gov. Rick Scott without a recount.

But when the recount showed a narrow victory for Scott, Nelson conceded defeat. Trump, however, wanted to throw out the election results in the 2018 Arizona Senate race when Democrat Kyrsten Sinema narrowly pulled ahead of Republican Martha McSally.

On November 8, Trump tweeted, “Just out — in Arizona, SIGNATURES DON’T MATCH. Electoral corruption – Call for a new Election? We must protect our Democracy!” There was no evidence whatsoever that Sinema’s supporters had committed any type of voter fraud; regardless, Trump went way beyond asking for a recount—he wanted a “new election.”

But McSally, to her credit, rejected Trump’s conspiracy theory nonsense and eventually conceded to Sinema.

4. Pardoning Cronies, However Egregious Their Actions

In Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio (an outspoken Trump supporter) conducted himself like a dictator or an authoritarian rather than a democratically elected law enforcement official. But the system of checks and balances worked when Arpaio lost a bid for reelection and faced misdemeanor contempt of court charges for refusing to comply with a judge’s orders to cease traffic stops that specifically targeted Latino drivers. Arpaio faced up to half a year in jail, but he was spared incarceration when Trump gave him a presidential pardon in 2017. Chiraag Bains, a senior fellow at Harvard Law School’s Criminal Justice Policy Program, asserted that Trump’s pardon of Arpaio was disturbing not only because it was an “endorsement of racism,” but also, because it “reflects Trump’s deep disdain for the judiciary and its role in our system of checks and balances.”

5. Shameless Monetization of the Presidency

When Trump was campaigning for president in 2016, he promised that there would be a strict separation of his business interests and his political activity. But not unlike a family dynasty in a banana republic—for example, the Somoza family in Nicaragua—the Trump family has monetized the White House.

Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, were appointed as top White House aides. And in July 2017, Mother Jones noted that neither of them had fully divested from their real estate holdings.

Not only has President Trump failed to “drain the swamp”—he has made it much more toxic.

According to Middle East Eye, the plan to shield the crown prince encompasses several steps, including an option to blame Khashoggi’s murder “on an innocent member of the ruling al-Saud family in order to insulate those at the very top.”

 

The response of the Trump White House in the aftermath of Khashoggi’s murder has brought increased attention to Trump’s business ties to Saudi Arabia, the close relationship between Jared Kushner and the crown prince, and other potential conflicts of interest that could explain the administration’s motivation to provide cover to the Saudi regime.

Of particular interest is a $110 million payment that Saudi Arabia made to the U.S. government on the same day that Pompeo arrived in the Gulf kingdom. That’s the same amount of money that was previously promised to the Trump administration to support its stabilization efforts in Syria.

White House officials have insisted the timing of the payment was mere coincidence, but many Middle Eastern experts are skeptical.

“In all probability, the Saudis want Trump to know that his cooperation in covering for the Khashoggi affair is important to the Saudi monarch,” Joshua Landis, director of the University of Oklahoma’s Center of Middle East Studies, told the Washington Post. “Much of its financial promises to the U.S. will be contingent on this cooperation.”

Others offered even more blunt assessments. “The timing of this is no coincidence,” said one U.S. official involved in Syria policy.

Complicating matters even further are Trump’s personal financial interests in Saudi Arabia. Despite his denials when questioned in the aftermath of Khashoggi’s killing, Trump has previously bragged about how much money he’s made from Saudi investors, and these profits have only increased since his election.

According to a Washington Post report, Trump Hotels in New York and Chicago have seen a huge influx of Saudi cash in recent months, giving Trump yet another reason to cozy up to the royal family — and possibly even enough motivation to help them cover up a murder.

More than six weeks after Khashoggi was brutally murdered for his work as a journalist, new questions continue to arise about his killing and the events that took place afterward. But while we don’t know the full story yet, one thing is clear: If the effort to cover up Khashoggi’s murder was designed to make the scandal go away, it couldn’t possibly have backfired in a bigger way.

Amid international uproar over the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, some members of Saudi Arabia’s ruling family are agitating to prevent Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman from becoming king, three sources close to the royal court said.

They recognize that the king is unlikely to turn against his favorite son, known in the West as MbS.

Rather, they are discussing the possibility with other family members that after the king’s death, Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, 76, a younger full brother of King Salman and uncle of the crown prince, could take the throne, according to the sources.

Prince Ahmed, King Salman’s only surviving full brother, would have the support of family members, the security apparatus and some Western powers, one of the Saudi sources said.

Prince Ahmed returned to Riyadh in October after 2-1/2 months abroad. During the trip, he appeared to criticize the Saudi leadership while responding to protesters outside a London residence chanting for the downfall of the Al Saud dynasty.

He was one of only three people on the Allegiance Council, made up of the ruling family’s senior members, who opposed MbS becoming crown prince in 2017, two Saudi sources said at the time.

Neither Prince Ahmed nor his representatives could be reached for comment. Officials in Riyadh did not immediately respond to requests from Reuters for comment on succession issues.

The House of Saud is made up of hundreds of princes. Unlike typical European monarchies, there is no automatic succession from father to eldest son. Instead the kingdoms tribal traditions dictate that the king and senior family members from each branch select the heir they consider fittest to lead.

Senior U.S. officials have indicated to Saudi advisers in recent weeks that they would support Prince Ahmed, who was deputy interior minister for nearly 40 years, as a potential successor, according to Saudi sources with direct knowledge of the consultations.

These Saudi sources said they were confident that Prince Ahmed would not change or reverse any of the social or economic reforms enacted by MbS, would honor existing military procurement contracts and would restore the unity of the family.

One senior U.S. official said the White House is in no hurry to distance itself from the crown prince despite pressure from lawmakers and the CIAs assessment that MbS ordered Khashoggis murder, though that could change once Trump gets a definitive report on the killing from the intelligence community.

The official also said the White House saw it as noteworthy that King Salman seemed to stand by his son in a speech in Riyadh on Monday and made no direct reference to Khashoggi’s killing, except to praise the Saudi public prosecutor.

The White House declined to comment.

The Saudi sources said U.S. officials had cooled on MbS not only because of his suspected role in the murder of Khashoggi. They are also rankled because the crown prince recently urged the Saudi defense ministry to explore alternative weapons supplies from Russia, the sources said.

In a letter dated May 15, seen by Reuters, the crown prince requested that the defense ministry “focus on purchasing weapon systems and equipment in the most pressing fields” and get training on them, including the Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile system.

Neither the Russian defense ministry nor officials in Riyadh immediately responded to Reuters requests for comment.

U.S. ROLE KEY

The brutal killing of Khashoggi, a prominent critic of the crown prince, in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last month has drawn global condemnation, including from many politicians and officials in the United States, a key Saudi ally. The CIA believes the crown prince ordered the killing, according to U.S. sources familiar with the assessment.

Saudi Arabia’s public prosecutor has said the crown prince knew nothing of the killing.

The international uproar has piled pressure on a royal court already divided over 33-year-old Prince Mohammed’s rapid rise to power. Since his ascension, the prince has gained popular support with high-profile social and economic reforms including ending a ban on women driving and opening cinemas in the conservative kingdom.

His reforms have been accompanied by a crackdown on dissent, a purge of top royals and businessmen on corruption charges, and a costly war in Yemen.

He has also marginalized senior members of the royal family and consolidated control over Saudis security and intelligence agencies.

He first ousted then-powerful crown prince and interior minister Mohammed bin Nayef (MbN), 59, in June 2017. Then he removed Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, 65, son of the late King Abdullah, as head of the National Guard and detained him as part of an anti-corruption campaign.

Some 30 other princes were also arrested, mistreated, humiliated and stripped of their wealth, even as MbS splashed out on palaces, a $500 million yacht, and set a new record in the international art market with the purchase of a painting by Italian Renaissance engineer and painter Leonardo Da Vinci.

The entire House of Saud has emerged weakened as a result.

According to one well-placed Saudi source, many princes from senior circles in the family believe a change in the line of succession “would not provoke any resistance from the security or intelligence bodies he controls” because of their loyalty to the wider family.

“They (the security apparatus) will follow any consensus reached by the family.”

Officials in Riyadh did not respond to a request for comment.

The United States, a key ally in economic and security terms, is likely to be a determining factor in how matters unfold in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi sources and diplomats say.

President Donald Trump on Saturday called the CIA assessment that MbS ordered Khashoggi’s killing “very premature” but “possible”, and said he would receive a complete report on the case on Tuesday.

Trump and his son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner have cultivated deep personal relationships with the crown prince. One Saudi insider said MbS feels he still has their support and is willing to “roll some heads to appease the U.S.”

But Trump and top administration officials have said Saudi officials should be held to account for any involvement in Khashoggis death and have imposed sanctions on 17 Saudis for their alleged role including one of MbS’s closest aides.

U.S. lawmakers are meanwhile pushing legislation to punish Riyadh for the killing, and both Republican and Democratic senators have urged Trump to get tough on the crown prince.

King Salman, 82, is aware of the consequences of a major clash with the United States and the possibility that Congress could try to freeze Saudi assets.

Those who have met the king recently say he appeared to be in denial about the role of MbS in what happened, believing there to be a conspiracy against the kingdom. But they added that he looked burdened and worried.

ALLEGIANCE COUNCIL
When the king dies or is no longer be able to rule, the 34-member Allegiance Council, a body representing each line of the ruling family to lend legitimacy to succession decisions, would not automatically declare MbS the new king.

Even as crown prince, MbS would still need the council to ratify his ascension, one of the three Saudi sources said. While the council accepted King Salman’s wish to make MbS crown prince, it would not necessarily accept MbS becoming king when his father dies, especially given that he sought to marginalise council members.

Officials in Riyadh did not respond to a request for comment.

The Saudi sources say MbS has destroyed the institutional pillars of nearly a century of Al Saud rule: the family, the clerics, the tribes and the merchant families. They say this is seen inside the family as destabilising.

Despite the controversy over Khashoggi’s killing, MbS is continuing to pursue his agenda.

Some insiders believe he built his father a new but remote Red Sea palace in Sharma, at the Neom City development site — thrown up in a record one year at a cost of $2 billion — as a gilded cage for his retirement.

The site is isolated, the closest city of Tabouk more than 100 km (60 miles) away. Residence there would keep the king out of the loop on most affairs of state, one of the sources close to the royal family said.

Officials in Riyadh did not respond to a request for comment.

persistently intentional misdirection, and perjury under oath with no restraint?

1.) What if in both candidate for office and his Senate and White-House-counsel managers fix an obstruction of truth and justice and refusal to answer questions throughout, and level non-stop attacks and slanderous accusations of anyone stepping in the way?

2.) What if all the while intimidation of all resistance up to threats of death against the testifying victim rise in the background and the US President himself reverses his endorsement of the credibility of the witness against Kavanaugh and uses his bully pulpit to mock her in a televised public speech at a political rally?

3.) What if the FBI itself is used as a covertly operating instrument whose report is manipulated and made secret to the public and the press? 

What if in all evident respects the process and appointment to the highest judicial office of the land operates like a criminal conspiracy with a vice-grip on all three branches of government – in the words of Madison, the very definition of ‘tyranny’ – with now the Supreme Court itself fixed to ignore and override basic issues of justice and morality for the next generation in a situation of cumulatively unprecedented social and environmental crisis?

Sonia Sotomayor won nine Republican votes; Elena Kagan got five Republican votes and lost one Democratic vote. Justice Anthony Kennedy continued to move back and forth within the Court across partisan lines.

As the new Court settled in, people began to wonder whether the wounds of 2000 might be closing.

Then, in 2016, Justice Antonin Scalia died.

President Barack Obama, facing a Republican Senate, carefully nominated a moderate whom even Senator Orrin Hatch had previously designated as acceptable to both sides. But then the rules changed. 
Scalia’s seat, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said, would not be filled, no matter what. Republicans had a majority in the Senate and could use it for any purpose they wished—including making the Supreme Court seat a plum partisan patronage job to be filled after the next presidential election.

Republican nominee Donald Trump assured Republican voters that he would appoint justices who would “automatically” overturn Roe v. Wade. To make this clearer, he released a short list of nominees, in effect putting their names on the presidential ballot besides his. Another threshold was crossed: A Court seat was a partisan prize, its holders subject to popular vote.

Given his personality, how does this impact Donald Trump emotionally and cognitively? Is he excited? Titillated?

I think he does feel that way. Giuliani really is his alter ego. This is what he wanted in his spokesman and lawyer. Someone who would just make up vicious lies and just keep slashing and burning and hurling mud and threats, devaluations and false accusations and conspiracies to muddy the waters, to make Trump look like the victim. You’re right, this is not a metaphor. This is organized crime stuff. It is the same psychology where there are all kinds of open extortionist threats

In a move that risks exposing them to even more vicious rants of “fake news” in unhinged presidential tweets, The New York Times today published an anonymous Op-Ed essay from a senior official in the Trump administration who openly admits that he and other ‘like-minded colleagues….have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.”

The newspaper prefaced the essay with a statement explaining the departure from their usual policy of requiring that the identities all Op-Ed authors to be verified and disclosed.

“The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers,” the paper’s editorial board explained.

The content of the Op-Ed quickly demonstrates why the author requested anonymity and why the White House today must be a hive of whispers and intrigue as the staff tries to determine who is behind the damning content.

 

The author begins his essay with a confirmation of one of the worst take-aways from the portrait of the Trump White House as portrayed in noted journalist Bob Woodward’s new book.

“President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.”

“It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.”

He’s not of the highest honesty. Therefore, Trump would fail to gain the clearance that allows an airman to handle nuclear weapons. He would be disqualified.

Yet this person who is not qualified to even load the bombs onto the planes is the commander in chief and has the unilateral authority for any reason at any time to launch nuclear weapons.

Trump also has a blatant disregard for expert knowledge, which signals to a broader problem with American culture at present and especially to how American conservatives embrace anti-intellectualism. Trump bragged that he would not need to prepare for his meeting with Kim because he works on instinct.

Is Trump even capable of processing the seriousness of his meeting with North Korea’s leader?

No. Trump’s grandiosity is such that he actually believes he is an expert on everything. Based on his speeches and interviews, Trump is apparently the world authority on 25 different issues. This also speaks to a bigger problem, which is the death of expertise. For authoritarians and malignant narcissists like Trump an independent source of authority, whether it’s the press, the bureaucracy or the experts, are threats to his authority. Trump leaves positions at the State Department unfilled because he doesn’t want experts telling him what to do. He knows that he knows more than everybody else. What’s really frightening is that he actually believes that he has this kind of papal infallibility.

How would you explain to Republican leaders and other right-wing elites the seriousness of Trump’s mental and personality issues and the danger he poses to America and the world? 

I truly believe that the elected Republican politicians are completely lost souls. They are like the characters in a zombie movie who keep their father in the basement because they don’t really understand that he is a zombie. He’s not coming back. I really, truly think it’s that bad.

There a few Republicans who are trying to sound the alarm about Trump, but the Republican Party as a whole is like organized crime at this point, and Trump is the boss. There’s absolutely no other conclusion you could draw.

However, they cite these “successes” as having been accomplished despite the president’s “impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective” leadership style.

“From the White House to executive branch departments and agencies, senior officials will privately admit their daily disbelief at the commander in chief’s comments and actions. Most are working to insulate their operations from his whims.”

“Meetings with him veer off topic and off the rails, he engages in repetitive rants, and his impulsiveness results in half-baked, ill-informed and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back.”

They then go on to try to reassure the American public that they and their like-minded colleagues are the last bulwark of hope preventing the administration and the country as a whole from descending into chaos, in a somewhat self-serving assessment.

“The erratic behavior would be more concerning if it weren’t for unsung heroes in and around the White House. Some of his aides have been cast as villains by the media. But in private, they have gone to great lengths to keep bad decisions contained to the West Wing, though they are clearly not always successful.”

“It may be cold comfort in this chaotic era, but Americans should know that there are adults in the room. We fully recognize what is happening. And we are trying to do what’s right even when Donald Trump won’t.”

They then continue to describe a “two-track presidency” where Trump is advocating practices and policies that would feel right at home in an autocratically-controlled society, while what the right-wing refers to as the “deep state” — rebranded the “steady state” by the author — ignores his rants and maintains a modicum of normalcy.

 

The most shocking revelation contained in the Op-Ed is the admission that even at the beginning of the administration “there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment” to remove the president due to his inability to discharge the powers and duties of the office. Unfortunately, they decided to avoid precipitating a constitutional crisis and simply vowed to do what they could to contain the president’s worst impulses.

The Op-Ed concludes with a lament on the current state of the body politic and a call to the American people to transcend politics to come together.

“The bigger concern is not what Mr. Trump has done to the presidency but rather what we as a nation have allowed him to do to us. We have sunk low with him and allowed our discourse to be stripped of civility.”

“Senator John McCain put it best in his farewell letter. All Americans should heed his words and break free of the tribalism trap, with the high aim of uniting through our shared values and love of this great nation.”

It does meet the criteria. You’ve got the charismatic leader, and his followers subsume their identity into his group, which makes them feel larger and more powerful. Once you have that kind of blind belief and loyalty, the leader, as Donald Trump has said, could really shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and nothing would happen. The cognitive dissonance is such that the cult members will rationalize anything. For example, something like 50 percent of Republicans say that if Trump wanted to cancel the 2020 election, that would be fine with them.

Daily Mail reports that a new book by Craig Unger, entitled ‘House of Trump, House of Putin; the Untold Story of Donald Trump and the Russian Mafia‘, claims that President Trump is and has been a Russian asset since 1987In 1987 Donald Trump travelled to Moscow, and Unger says that the former head of counterintelligence for the KGB, Oleg Kalugin, insists that Trump would have very likely been filmed with prostitutes at that time, saying that Trump had ‘many young ladies at his disposal’ and that Russian spies would have jumped at the opportunity.Kalugin also claims that Trump is an easy ‘Russian asset’ considering how greedy he has been over the years.  He goes as far as saying that Trump is most likely aware of the existence of blackmail material often referred to as ‘kompromat’.

If Russia was likely willing to gather ‘kompromat’ on Trump 31 years ago, it would seem to give further credence to the Steele Dossier which claims that Russia had gathered ‘kompromat’ on Trump back in 2013 as well. 

It’s worth noting that no proof of this blackmail material was provided to Unger by Kalugin — only his opinion on what most

likely would have taken place at the time of Trump’s visit to Moscow.

The Trump Era does have one upside: people now feel comfortable saying the quiet parts out loud. You no longer have to decipher what they’re really about—they’ll just tell you straight-up. That’s why it’s a more and more common experience to wake up and see that one of the fabulously rich resentment-peddlers on the president’s favorite news network spent the previous evening spouting unabashed white nationalism on-air.

Usually, it’s Tucker Carlson who pops up on Fox News to rail against “demographic changes” in America—that is, non-white people immigrating here. That kind of rhetoric has earned Carlson praise from Richard Spencer and David Duke.

But Laura Ingraham certainly gave Carlson a run for his money Wednesday night, unleashing a nakedly white nationalist rant that suggested “the America we know and love” has been destroyed by “massive demographic changes” due to both illegal and legal immigration:

Ingraham is saying outright that allowing non-white people to come here—and, down the line, threaten the majority power enjoyed by White America—is tantamount to destroying America. To Ingraham, America is not a daring experiment in self-government based on the principles of liberty, equality before the law, and self-determination, which anyone can be a part of if they work hard and buy into these values. White people got here first—ignore those pesky Native Americans!—so it’s white people’s turf.

Like the Trump administration, which has tried to cut even legal immigration by any means possible, Ingraham is no longer pantomiming about how illegal immigration is the problem. The problem for these folks is that Certain People are coming here, full stop.

They want more people from Norway, or they don’t want anyone coming at all. You can tell because Ingraham backed her soliloquy with footage of…people farming? That seems like a pretty traditional American activity. Ah, but everyone featured in the video playing as you say “the America we know and love” is gone…is Latino.

And now you’re showing people climbing a border fence.

“None of us ever voted for” this, Ingraham said, apparently pining for the time of

the Chinese Exclusion Act. No one needs to vote in favor of new people coming to America.

It is the story of America.

 

This discussion used to center on how we can better enforce our immigration laws.

Now it’s about whether anyone should be allowed in at all.

Ingraham went on to highlight the case of one undocumented immigrant who

committed child rape as part of an attack on Philadelphia as a sanctuary city.

 

This is a classic ploy among propagandists—to highlight one horrific occurrence and

present it as representative of an entire group.

 

That is why the president, and Fox News, continually highlight MS-13 when discussing immigration,

even though MS-13 makes up a tiny percentage of immigrants—and of the nation’s gang members—and

undocumented immigrants are less likely to commit crime than native citizens.

 

(Meanwhile, ICE arrests of noncriminal immigrants have skyrocketed.)

 

Oh, and the very basis for the current immigration crisis is bunk: 

illegal border crossings are at historic lows, a fraction of the level during the 1990s.

But none of that matters to the Fox News resentment hounds.

They’re railing against legal immigration now.

 

A new study, picked up by Vox,

indicates that reminding white people they are losing majority status—and power—due to

changing demographics in America makes them more hostile to social safety net programs

that benefit poor minorities.

 

Fox News has known this for decades, and has sold white resentment as a primary product.

After all, it serves a double purpose: give viewers what they want,

and turn them towards policies favored by the corporate class that actually makes Republican Party policy.

But perhaps the most telling part of Ingraham's monologue last night came 
before the true white nationalist section. It came as she took on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 
the Democratic Socialist from New York who seems to drive right-wingers a special brand of insane. 

Surely it's a coincidence that it was Ocasio-Cortez, 
an increasingly powerful Puerto Rican star in Democratic politics, 
who launched Ingraham on this rant about the demographic destruction of America.

Anyway, the Fox host had this to say:

As if she knows all of America from her loft in Queens.

This really has it all.

There’s the “loft” description to suggest Ocasio-Cortez is living the lap of luxury,

even though Queens is far from New York’s wealthiest bureau.

 

On the flip side, Ingraham is worth tens of millions of dollars,

and like every other Populist Conservative Personality, is set up in a major coastal city.

But then there’s the idea Queens is not part of Real America.

The subtext here, of course, is that Queens is some alien entity.

But there are Real American White People in Queens,

too—they just live alongside people with roots all over the world.

 

One three-block section of Queens is home to people who came there from 51 nations,

the vast majority of whom came here to work hard and find a better life for themselves and their families.

To those who believe America is a nation for anyone willing to buy into the values and the

After all, it serves a double purpose: give viewers what they want,

and turn them towards policies favored by the corporate class that actually makes Republican Party policy.

But perhaps the most telling part of Ingraham's monologue last night came 
before the true white nationalist section. It came as she took on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 
the Democratic Socialist from New York who seems to drive right-wingers a special brand of insane. 

Surely it's a coincidence that it was Ocasio-Cortez, 
an increasingly powerful Puerto Rican star in Democratic politics, 
who launched Ingraham on this rant about the demographic destruction of America.

Anyway, the Fox host had this to say:

As if she knows all of America from her loft in Queens.

This really has it all.

There’s the “loft” description to suggest Ocasio-Cortez is living the lap of luxury,

even though Queens is far from New York’s wealthiest bureau.

 

On the flip side, Ingraham is worth tens of millions of dollars,

and like every other Populist Conservative Personality, is set up in a major coastal city.

But then there’s the idea Queens is not part of Real America.

The subtext here, of course, is that Queens is some alien entity.

But there are Real American White People in Queens,

too—they just live alongside people with roots all over the world.

 

One three-block section of Queens is home to people who came there from 51 nations,

the vast majority of whom came here to work hard and find a better life for themselves and their families.

To those who believe America is a nation for anyone willing to buy into the values and the

promise of the American Experiment, of course Queens is Real America.

So, too, is Iowa, so long as being an Iowan is about what you believe and how you behave,

not your complexion or when your great-grandfather got off the boat.

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham’s Wednesday night monologue about immigrants destroying America was so racist it got the endorsement of David Duke, the former leader of the Ku Klux Klan.

During the opening to her primetime show The Ingraham Angle, Ingraham complained that “the America we know and love doesn’t exist anymore. Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people,” she said, in the form of documented and undocumented immigrants.

It should be no surprise that Ingraham’s rhetoric got the endorsement of an open white supremacist.

Ingraham’s fellow Fox News host Tucker Carlson also echoed white nationalist rhetoric when he said immigrants were leading to “the collapse of the American family” in June.

THE MYTH OF WHITE PERSECUTION AND THE ATTACK UPON CHRISTIANITY

Ingraham and Carlson’s monologues borrowed the rhetoric of what white nationalists falsely call “white genocide,” an innuendo that refers to racist fears about people of color coming to outnumber white people in the United States.

A large segment of white nationalists also hitch their fears to the claim that the left and/or Jewish people are encouraging immigration to dilute the white race.

Minutes later, Duke tweeted praise for Ingraham.

“One of the most important (truthful) monologues in the history of MSM,” he wrote above a clip of Ingraham’s rant.

This is no longer a dogwhistle.

Ingraham is saying outright that allowing non-white people to come here—and, down the line, threaten the majority power enjoyed by White America—is tantamount to destroying America. In this formulation, what defines the United States is its whiteness, or at least the idea that white people are at the center of American life. Which they are, for now.

To Ingraham, America is not a daring experiment in self-government based on the principles of liberty, equality before the law, and self-determination, which anyone can be a part of if they work hard and buy into these values. White people got here first—ignore those pesky Native Americans!—so it’s white people’s turf.
