“….There are some whose faults do them honor;
For that handful of people who have not heard of the theories of the Holocaust it would be best to begin with the Fall of Islam as the Second Israel, their end as a World Religion, and how this ends concerning Christianity in particular, which happened once before at the fall of Judaism for the First Israel, when they sold the Lamb down the river to have him killed by the Roman State.
For breaking the covenant with Jehovah it was the curse of Moses in Leviticus 26, as the 7 fold one in the 4 Position Foundation; as he repeated the 7 fold scale 4 times: and ends by saying God will “draw out a sword” after the Jews, even when they run to other nations, and that He would pursue them even then, as written at Leviticus 26:33….
“And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste….”
The Death of the American DreamNow we come to the time when a few rich and powerful men of Belial, who were elected by an ignorant and deceived populace to serve special interests, who were and are out to destroy America’s first Black President: it was then decided that they decided to take over the government and destroy the entire Nation, thereby plunging the world into economic chaos, since the American dollar is the World Reserve Currency, known on the Wall of Babylon’s Street as “the Almighty Dollar..” For another thorn in my side I would have to address the book newly published by Elaine Pagels, and for that handful of people who have not heard of Elaine Pagels it would be best to start with the facts: first of all, she is a world recognized writer and recognized figure in the field comparative documentation about the early writings and records of Christian Religion, and is an expert in the field of comparative analysis with these ancient and some quite recently discovered texts, concerning Christianity in particular. This is someone whose books and pronouncements are treated with almost universal and total respect, and whose authority in matters regarding her own research and opinions about her findings and conclusions to be virtually uncontested. Her newest book takes itself to the Olympian heights of a Preterist immolation of the Revelation, dispensing with the Revelation of St. John the Divine with her own claim that John the Divine was not John the Apostle, but a disgruntled Jew who made it all up out of his own head, to discredit Christianity itself. But this is Elaine projecting her own ignorance onto the global stage; but now her response hath been sent: with a vengeance from my Father Jesus, of course. Her latest book, which is called “Revelations: Visions, Prophecy, and Politics in the Book of Revelation”, was recently reviewed in New Yorker Magazine, in which the reviewer Adam Gopnik then makes light of the entire question by likening the Revelation to a hallucinatory opus, full of sound and fury but signifying: nothing.
THE WHITE GODDESS
and Elaine PagelsThat I take issue with Elaine Pagels and her entire analysis of the Revelation is done as a matter of course: as she has absolutely no idea what she is talking about: period. And what is more typically mundane and forgivably astounding; no one has even dared to correct her, because no one has any idea of what the last book in the Bible actually is: The Word of God itself, from beginning to end. This is not surprising, as she is approaching this book in the Bible from the point of view and with the operating modality of a scholar, which, as the Sufis were fond of saying; “….the scholars are entirely mistaken…”, and she is no exception to this blanket summation of those who think they can approach the greatest work of the prophetic consciousness with the yardstick of any literal, historic, political and human perspective about a book in which is revealed, to one who has the Seal: the Mystery of God itself: Himself. The main sticking point is that Elaine Pagels has denied that John the Beloved Disciple wrote the Revelation. Catholic tradition states that after the Assumption, John went to Ephesus and from there wrote the three epistles traditionally attributed to him. John was allegedly banished by the Roman authorities to the Greek island of Patmos, where some believe that he wrote Book of Revelation. According to Tertullian (in The Prescription of Heretics) John was banished (presumably to Patmos) after being plunged into boiling oil in Rome and suffering nothing from it. It is said that all who were watching in the entire Colosseum audience were so amazed at this miracle that they all converted to Christianity upon witnessing this miracle on the spot. This is probably the real reason John the Divine was sent out to the barren little island: he was too great a threat to the established order, and completely demolished the doctrine of the divinity of Ceasar , starting with Domitian who came after Nero, in whose reign John witnessed the destruction of Rome by fire, as seen in Daniel long before. This event would have occurred during the reign of Domitian, the Roman Emperor who was known for his cruel persecution of Christians in the late 1st century. When John was aged, he trained Polycarp, who later became Bishop of Smyrna. This was important because Polycarp was able to carry John’s message to future generations. Polycarp taught Irenaeus, and passed on to him stories, one being famous, as it deals with John and his opinion about the arch-heretic in his day, one Cerinthus. According to Irenaeus, Polycarp told the story that John the Divine, is said to have so detested Cerinthus that he once fled a bathhouse when he found out Cerinthus was inside. This was a widely known tale. Cerinthus was a problem for everyone in the Christian community at the time. Early Christian tradition describes Cerinthus as a contemporary and opponent of John the Divine, who it is surmised to have written the “First and Second Epistles of John” to specifically warn Christians about this satanically derived belief system, and to address the faithful in respect to doctrine. In particular John expresses the practical point of the Doctrine as not just talking about loving others: but actually doing it.. He does warn the less mature in faith and doctrine about the changes Cerinthus was making to the original gospel. But he does not mention him by name, no doubt because he did not want to immortalize him and his error in any way. One tradition maintains that John wrote his first two epistles to counter Cerinthus’ heresy, and one can see John addresses many issues in his first letter, issues seen nowhere else in the New Testament. Cerinthus lived at around 100 CE was an early gnostic and to some, a gainsaying and pseudo-Christian,, …..one who was prominent as a Heresiarch or “arch-heretic”, in the view of the early Church Fathers. Contrary to proto-orthodoxy Christianity, Cerinthus’s school followed the Jewish law, used the Gospel according to the Hebrews, denied that the Supreme God had made the physical world, and denied the divinity of my Father Jesus. In Cerinthus’ interpretation, the Christ came to Jesus at baptism, guided him in his ministry, but left him at the Cross. Such claptrap beguiled and mislead many unstable souls. He taught that Jesus would establish a thousand-year reign of sensuous pleasure after the Second Coming, but before the General Resurrection, a view that was declared heretical by the Council of Nicaea. Cerinthus used a version of the gospel of Matthew as scripture. Furthermore, Cerinthus taught at a time when Christianity’s relation to Judaism and to Greek philosophy had not yet been clearly defined. In his association with the Jewish law and his modest assessment of Jesus, he was similar to the Ebionites and to other Jewish Christians. In defining the world’s creator as the demiurge, he emulated Platonic philosophy and anticipated the Gnostics.
All that is known about Cerinthus comes from the writing of his theological opponents.
In “Against Heresies”, Irenaeus relates how Polycarp told a story of John, the disciple of the Lord, going to bathe at Ephesus, and perceiving Cerinthus within, rushed out of the bath-house without bathing, exclaiming,
“……..Let us fly, lest even the bath-house fall down, because Cerinthus, the enemy of the truth, is within…”It is traditionally believed that John survived his contemporary apostles and lived to an extreme old age, dying naturally at Ephesus in about AD 100. Due to the fact that after John was boiled in oil, and then did not die, he was then considered to be someone who was “protected” by some deity or god, thus he was considered to be a danger to the gods, and was then exiled to Patmos to die. But he ended up outliving his captors, and leaving Patmos, and going on to Antioch with the scribe Prochorus. Polycarp was among those John mentored and taught, as he lived to be close to 100 years old. Apparently Elaine Pagels dismissed Tertullian in his mentions of John the Divine going and then leaving Patmos, or why he was called “the Divine”. In fact he was given that name after Domitian had him boiled in oil; and he emerged unharmed; a sight so incredible and a miracle so great that every soul in the Colosseum converted o the spot. That is why he was exiled to Patmos: and fast.. ……..and Irenaeus also mentions his ongoing struggle against Cerinthius, prompting John to run out of a bathhouse stark naked, for fear the place would collapse!!!. The story is repeated in several places, and by different sources. But corroborating evidence was not good enough for the axe that Elaine Pagels wanted to grind; so we get a Preterist reduction of the Revelation to a laughable absurdity; which she then ends with her homage to the White Goddess of Robert Graves,. In her book I read the spiritually bereft passages with amusement, as she channels the whore Laura Riding, seemingly channeling her libertine and drunken spirit, after the famous incident in which she jumped out the window and hit her head; as Pagels also seems to have lost her wits, in this reductionist attempt to defame John the Divine, and deny the Revelation of Jesus Christ; which is the Book of life of the Lamb. I am quite sure she will defend herself, so I will include some unknown, but incontrovertible: facts. The Gospel according to John differs considerably from the synoptic gospels, likely written decades earlier than John’s Gospel. The bishops of Asia Minor supposedly requested him to write his Gospel to deal with the heresy of the Ebionites, who asserted that Christ did not exist before Mary. The Ebionites also declared the Holy Spirit to be female, like my fallen messenger Sun Myung Moon, who did say the same thing in his book “Divine Principle”, quite a bit later in the Unification Church in 1973, when it was published in America. This book was the work of John the Baptist and the Essenes from Spirit World, but flawed, having many half-truths and outright distortions, along with the awkward lie that my Father Lord Jesus did not resurrect in his flesh and bone, but was an incorporeal ghost after his resurrection, flying around the world of spirits like some hapless wayward bat, appearing and then disappearing from locked rooms, due to the fact he was just some kind of evanescent vapor of a ghostly celestial spirit. But my Father Jesus had Doubting Thomas disprove that hypothesis for all true believers: Rev. Moon not being one of them, unfortunately: for him. Tragically, as now he is dead, with no hope of recanting his error. Robert Graves discusses this erroneous belief of the Ebionites in his book “The White Goddess”. But Graves himself does not dismiss it: I do…. The Tail of the Dragon is Sodom; and the Kingdom of Darkness is then symbolized by the Dragon of Korea right now; the Great Red Dragon which is Egypt; and the Light in this Kingdom is her Darkness: the Great Whore; ISIS; and ‘how Great is that Darkness!’. And the Face of the Dragon is Jezebel; the Devil herself.
When I began to ask Unification Church officials for specific information about how and why Rev. Moon and his church had decided that this ancient heresy would be the cornerstone of Unification Church theology I ran into a brick wall.
