We are told the work on /r/Pizzagate (and other message boards) is illegitimate because people are rushing to conclusions, or because they are being paranoid, or partisan (despite so many of different political complexions provably working together). The subtitle here of course is that the State is solely legitimate to suspect and investigate crimes.
But what if the State itself is, in a systemic way, responsible for said crimes? It wouldn’t be a first; after all, democide (death by government, a word surprisingly absent from conversations) was the first cause of non-natural deaths in the 20th century. Whether one is from the right, left, or center, one cannot deny government is the number one abuser, enslaver and serial-killer in History. We may honestly disagree on the ways to eradicate the phenomenon, or we may regret that fact, but we cannot deny it.
So, if the State itself is committing crimes, it is the people’s sovereign and sacred duty to expose it. Those who understand this truth best tend to become journalists. At least, that’s what drove me to the profession.
Now specifically on this work. First, there is context; institutional child abuse is already a common-knowledge phenomenon. From the Presidio affair to Jimmy Saville and the BBC, or from the Vatican’s historic involvement in covering-up pedophilia to US legislators’ documented trips on the “Lolita Express”, from the questions still surrounding Dutroux to the Hampstead doubts, the scourge has been featured in the news, movies, documentaries, art work.
There have also been many policymakers, prosecutors, investigators and victims denouncing the very phenomenon; see for example British MP John Mann passionate speech before Parliament on the subject last year, or the extensive report by former undercover Interpol agent (Bannon). Indeed it is a secret de Polichinelle.
So the only possible disagreement can be on the scale and systemicity of the phenomenon.
To honestly decide whether that’s what we are seeing in the Podesta emails, please have a look at this one example. Look at the invitation at the end of the thread. Ms Luzzatto is inviting people (among which are John and Mary Podesta) to a farm in Lovettsville. This is what she says:
“..We plan to heat the pool, so a swim is a possibility. Bonnie will be Uber Service to transport Ruby, Emerson, and Maeve Luzzatto (11, 9, and almost 7) so you’ll have some further entertainment, and they will be in that pool for sure….”
Impossible, you say? They couldn’t possibly be speaking about abusing the children! After all, what step-grandmother would offer three innocent children up for group abuse?
This is how invitee Drew Littman answers the invitation:
I’ve never had an affair, so I pass the Walter Jones test.
If you aren’t aware, Walter B. Jones has for 20 years been the U.S. Representative for North Carolina’s 3rd congressional district; in DC he’s regarded as the absurd caricature of a do-gooder, i.e. he is a noble man indeed.
Agreed, if that example was the only one, one could dismiss it as baroque misinterpretation. But there’s more, much more.
Let’s not even get into the handkerchiefs and codewords – even though “cheese pizza” is a known euphemism for “child porn” (and there are abundant examples in the Podesta emails where that term is used in very strange and out-of-context manners).
How about the fact that John and Tony Podesta are old friends of Jeffery Epstein, Dennis Hastert and Clement Freud, three convicted child molesters?
Who has so many child rapists as friends? Who stays friends with child rapists after they’re exposed and convicted?
How about the Katy Grannan photos plastered around the Podestas’ mansion, depicting naked teenagers?
How about Tony Podesta writing he’s “very good and a little wired” from being seated next to “the kids” on an airplane?
How about the underground vault on the Podestas’ property which admittedly allows them to watch “very complicated video pieces”?
If you are feeling ill-at-ease, that reaction is honorable. And the worse thing is you haven’t yet seen much. But for more, you’ll have to look for it. Indeed one might be breaking statutory laws by linking to some of the clues Internet sleuths have found in the past three weeks.
For example, did you know James Alefantis, listed 49th “most influential” person in DC by GQ, chef and White House regular, boyfriend of David Brock, owner of Comet Ping Pong, had an Instagram account filled with references to and depictions of child abuse and torture?
Indeed it’s not just the frescoes in his restaurant or the “artists” he hosts there; it’s not even the fact his menu and the logos of three other iconic businesses next door feature FBI-recognized pedophilia symbols.
No, this is about his own posts, pictures, comments and friends on social media. Again, you’ll have to look it up for yourself. It is hardly ambiguous.
Indeed it is Alefantis who puts the pizza in #Pizzagate.
And if you’re still not distinguishing the pattern, did you know that Laura Silsby (Gayler), the woman caught trying to smuggle thirty-three children out of Haiti (a country where the Clinton Foundation isn’t without controversy), whose release from jail became a personal matter for Ms Clinton, thereafter became an associate of MyStateUSA, which changed its name to AlertSense, and which is the one providing the technology to issue Amber Alerts?
Enough already. If anything I have proven the legitimacy of the following question:
Is there a systemic pedophilia problem in Washington DC, as we already suspect there is one in Hollywood?
In terms of national systemicity, the statistics are eloquent. The International Centre for Missing Children (ICMEC) estimates that 8 million children are reported missing each year around the world.
Of that number, according to U.S. Department of Justice research, an estimated 800,000 children will go missing in the United States alone — a rate of over 2’000 missing children each day — with 466,949 of those cases entered into the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database in 2014.
With a current child population (aged 0 – 17) of around 74 million in the United States, the U.S. Department of Justice figures equate to around 1 child in every 92 going missing in the United States each year.
This looks like a systemic problem indeed.
Childhood disappearances outnumber cancer deaths in the United States by one third.
Therefore, given the sheer amount of leaked emails, and the suspected phenomenon’s scale and repartition, it is likely the data dumps (Podesta and other Wikileaks, Guccifer 1/2, DNCLeaks, etc.) provide some clue to the problem.
Therefore, they should be investigated thoroughly under than particular lens, and suspicions need to be corroborated with other (and previously) known facts.
So, my fellow journalists, why aren’t you all looking into this?
Is it easy for you to dismiss it as confirmation bias?
I’m not going to answer the question for you. At least hop on the bandwagon: this is coming out with or without your help. But remember some moments are defining, in one’s career, for one’s conscience.

The responsibility of journalists vis-a-vis the public has precedence over any other responsibility, in particular towards their employers and the public power.

Millions read the news today, the pedophile ring “busted” or the earlier article about how the FBI actually ran it for several weeks, expanding it, drawing in tens of thousands.
Those who read it thought they knew, thought they were getting the story but as is so often the case, the truth goes so much further.
When Veterans Today tied the murder of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia to a White House blackmail plot and a strange tale involving the Keshe Foundation, it became clear that the highest and most powerful in Europe, the US and around the world, were tied together in a web of ritual child abuse on a massive scale.

Today’s story is one more aspect of this. VT’s involvement goes back to 1991 when key VT staffers worked for America’s intelligence community.
THE BEGINNING of THE END
A GOP high level staffer approached the CIA claiming that President George H.W. Bush was being blackmailed. It was said that the President was at a political fundraiser in St. Louis where, unknown to the President, top GOP campaign donors were having sex with young males, some of whom had been spirited away from Boys Town in Nebraska of Father Flanagan fame.

An Internet pedophile ring with up to 70,000 members — thought to be the world’s largest —has been uncovered by police, a security official said Wednesday.
The European police agency Europol said in a statement that “Operation Rescue” had identified 670 suspects and that 230 abused children in 30 countries had been taken to safety. More children are expected to be found, Europol said.
A pedophile ring, 70,000 strong, has been identified and hundreds arrested, an organization run on the internet, centered in the Free Energy Community, including websites run out of Paris, the Netherlands and Belgium.

So much of this story revolves around Mehran T. Keshe, whose plasma related defense technologies, threaten the military balance of power, disabling American stealth drones and even leaving an AEGIS destroyer floating, dead in the water, in the Black Sea.
Anti-Keshe “troll” and convicted pedophile Sterling Allen, former Rense Radio host, now serving a life sentence, is said to have supplied the encryption keys that allowed the FBI to take over the Netherlands based site. From NBC:
“The website operated from a server based in the Netherlands and, at its height, boasted up to 70,000 members worldwide,” it added.
“It attempted to operate as a ‘discussion–only’ forum where people could share their sexual interest in young boys without committing any specific offences, thus operating ‘below the radar’ of police attention,” Europol said.Police infiltrated site
The Europol statement said U.K. and Australian police infiltrated the site to identify the members who posed the greatest danger to children. Police also sometimes posed as children online as part of the investigation.Law enforcement authorities from 13 countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, Italy, Spain and the U.K., were involved in the case, Europol said.
The statement said Europol analysts had cracked the security features of a key computer server at the center of the network which uncovered the identities of suspected child sex offenders.
And, after his arrest, the forum’s Dutch administrator helped police break encryption measures that shielded users’ identities, allowing police to begin their covert investigations.
“Europol subsequently issued over 4,000 intelligence reports to police authorities in over 30 countries in Europe and elsewhere, which has led to the arrests of suspects and the safeguarding of children,” Europol said.”
In September 2015, Iranian physicist Mehran T. Keshe met with the FBI in Rome, a meeting set up by VT. From a source at Europol:

Scalia – What really happened?
Justice Antonin Scalia was surprised when he was ordered to the White House. This was not a man you gave orders to, especially not President Obama. It was Justice Antonin Scalia who vacated the long sacrosanct immunity from civil lawsuits, opening the door for a weakened presidency.
Sources say that Scalia was the single actor behind the impeachment of Bill Clinton. President Obama was aware of this and had ordered the FBI to set out traps for Scalia. We will now outline the downfall of Antonin Scalia. Yes, this is a story of secret societies, operating worldwide and ritual Satanic child abuse that permeates Washington.
When Scalia left the White House after a meeting with the president just before flying to Texas, the manila envelope he was carrying had printouts from a computer seized by FBI Special Agent Jeff Ross of the Salt Lake City, Utah field office, or so informants tell us.

Scalia left the White House carrying “slam dunk proof” that would lead to the arrest, conviction and, of course, impeachment of a seated Supreme Court Justice, files that contained names of victims and details on sex acts, preferred “types” along with dates and places. All of this was on the seized computer and these files went “up hill” from the FBI to the Department of Justice and directly over to the White House.
There, political advisors leapt on them, seeing a chance to leverage a justice and, in this case, and this is very important, bring down Scalia in such a way that conservatives would be forced to accept virtually any Obama nomination.
When Scalia arrived in Houston and chartered a plane after ditching his US Marshall protection detail, Scalia and his companion, C. Allen Foster.
Foster heads the Order of Hubertus and is co-owner with John Poindexter of the Cibolo Creek Ranch, 25,000 plus acres free for anyone to use, according to John Poindexter, “free of charge,” so long as they are a supreme court justice, “A list” celebrity like Mick Jagger or billionaires, others need not apply.
The crux of the story is how they got Scalia. According to sources, Scalia had been providing protection for an international pedophile ring and was murdered by “friends” who he had informed of the nature of his visit with Obama and the doom it signaled for those around Scalia, prosecution, ruin and Citizens United reversed.
The mechanism Scalia used to provide this protection was the Federalist Society which chooses the judges throughout the US judiciary system so should any unfortunate pedophile find himself in court, the judge was under Scalia’s control, thus making a successful prosecution difficult to achieve.
The Federalist Society grooms and recruits candidates to become judges at a young age – college age kids; they specifically seek out suitable candidates who have certain moral ambiguities that can be exploited.
Thus a stranglehold is placed on the judicial system of the United States by a group which serves the interests of big business – corrupt corporations, big pharma, the oil and coal barons; this is how their interests are, time and again, placed ahead of those of we, the people with the result that our environment and our bodies are polluted by the products of these corporations, be it poisons like aspartame and GMO crops in our food, toxins in our ground water (see Flint, MI) or just plain old exploitation of poor people such as the coal miners of West Virginia and Kentucky.
Scalia met with the Order of Saint Hubertus, the patron saint of million dollar dude ranch hunting. As of yet, no one has identified who was there, it seems that Supreme Court justices are found all the time with pillows over their faces and nobody asks a thing, but this was Texas and they make their own rules down there.
We remember former FBI director and founder, J Edgar Hoover, the man who said ritual satanic child abuse was a conspiracy theory. He is also the man who said the mafia didn’t exist.
Scalia’s talk in Texas was said to have gone like this:
“They have us, we are all going down unless we can give them what they want and they are holding all the cards, they have everything.”
There was no negotiation with the White House, instead Scalia got, we are told and multiple sources confirm, a pillow over the face and a heroic funeral, one that President Obama refused to attend. Now we know why.
For a seated president to not attend the funeral of a Supreme Court Justice is unthinkable.
( But not so hard to understand if the reason he did not attend is because Obama knew Scalia was a pedophile )

The computer itself belonged to a Sterling David Allen, arrested and charged with child rape and sodomy by the FBI after an investigation that began with a meeting in Rome, Italy. The FBI had known about Allen for some time, had wanted to arrest him since 2014 but had been blocked, they just didn’t know why or who was behind it, not until Justice Scalia died.
Within 9 days, Allen was jailed, and the evidence he held began to yield gold.
Allen is being held on these charges with bail set at $250,000.
We were shown an email from Allen where he tells of his January 15, 2016 meeting with Agent Ross at which time his computers were seized by the FBI. What we are told was on Allen’s computer and what Allen told agents is astounding. Allen confessed, we are told, not only to his own sex crimes but to being recruited by a powerful international organization that provided him broad protection from prosecution.

It is very sick, but if you really want to watch and hear the ramblings of a mad man just watch this video where Sterling D. Allan says he is GOD in the flesh, admits to being a paedophile, admits he has committed sexual abuse with an underage child, and says that he is waiting to be arrested. Mr. Allan claims he chose this life before coming to Earth to be a “scapegoat” which of course is all foretold in his insane “alphabetics.”
We are told that Allen became increasingly unstable as his own feelings of guilt and his own public confessions of child sex crimes were inadequate to bring about his own arrest, an arrest he openly asked for time and time again.
Allen, who using his computer skills helped fellow pedophiles scour the internet for vulnerable children.
High level sources confirm that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was murdered, that in itself is neither an original claim nor beyond the realm of likelihood based on circumstances allegedly tied to his death. By that, we are speaking of the “pillow over the head” and allegations of a “cover-up autopsy,” well outside legal requirements for someone of Scalia’s position.
Sources in the White House confirm that immediately prior to his flight to Texas, ostensibly for a hunting trip with 35 “close friends,” many of whom are members of the highly secret Order of Saint Hubertus. As is being reported, initially in the Washington Post with broader allegations made on the InfoWars website, tying the Hubertus Order to Bohemian Grove antics, long subject to speculation in the alternative media.
We became aware of the case in August 2015 when we were shown correspondence between Allen and representatives of the Keshe Foundation. Allen ran several popular websites on alternative energy and was a popular speaker, often appearing on the Coast to Coast radio show with Detroit native, George Noory.
Increasingly it became obvious that Allen had been using these venues for sexual trafficking of children. It wasn’t hard to figure out, he did it openly spoke of it constantly (as seen in the YouTube above) and lived as though he were above the law. Over the next few months, particularly when confronted by Iranian born physicist MT Keshe, who ordered Allen and those around him banned from all Keshe forums, Allen openly flaunted his criminal activities.
What made this particularly insidious is that it was obvious not only that Allen was not acting alone but that he had broad support not only in his home state of Utah, where he was able to avoid prosecution, but in Belgium as well. There, Allen and associates Hans Bracquene, Dirk Laureyssens and Ad Van den Elshout moved against the Keshe group, securing against Keshe’s wishes technologies with defense related applications and passing them on to MI 5 in Britain.
When Keshe moved against this group and tried to secure his patents, he found himself being chased down the highway, shots fired, his car run off the road. Police arrested and soon “misplaced” the culprits, and soon thereafter, representatives of Belgium’s “royals” told Keshe to leave Belgium or be buried there.
On the European end of the FBI investigation, the trail, all of which is easily followed by the “breadcrumbs” Sterling David Allen has left, leads to the highest and most powerful of the scientific communities where blackmail, kidnapping and torture, threats against families and in particular, threats against children, have placed members of secret societies in positions of power at universities, think tanks, police and counter-terrorism agencies and even the European Space Agency.
Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta used a term known to reference assassination in an email sent to a lobbyist days before Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s mysterious death.
The email, an exchange between Podesta and D.C. lobbyist Steve Elmendorf, appeared in a trove of documents dumped by the organization WikiLeaks Wednesday.
“Didn’t think wet works meant pool parties at the Vineyard,” Podesta says in the February 9 email under the subject line “Thanks”.
“I’m all in,” gay lobbyist and Hillary delegate Steve Elmendorf replies. “Sounds like it will be a bad nite, we all need to buckle up and double down.”
Justice Scalia was later found dead in a hotel room in Texas on the night of February 12 – three days after the email exchange took place.
The mysterious death was seen as suspicious by many, including a former US Army intelligence officer who deemed the pillow found over Scalia’s head to be a warning.
Emails sent throughout the Clinton campaign on the day Scalia’s death was announced show the team debated on whether or not to address the issue, and what should be said if anything.
Former U.S. Senate staffer Brent Budowsky also emailed Podesta on the 13th, the day Scalia’s body was found, suggesting a replacement for the late judge.
Others have pointed out there is a vineyard located right on the Cibolo Creek Ranch property, the site where the judge’s body was found.

The most accurate, yet least used, description of the United States is as a Republic. According to Webster, a Republic is “a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch.” And though its use is somewhat reserved to intellectual circles, where literary political icons like Gore Vidal are often echoed, there isn’t a more fitting term to describe what type of a nation we are or were intended to be.
This inherent belief that “supreme” power belongs to the people and not to monarchs or dictators is etched into the bones of Americans, like a tribal tattoo. It is a realized distinction in the world and though the term Republic is rarely referenced in popular culture, it remains an omnipresent American trait. However, the power of a Republic is not in how it governs society, rather its ability to reclaim itself when infringed upon.
For more than a century, there has been a consistent transfer of political strength from the majority to the few, in the Republic of the United States. The exchange has been fueled by the ability of mainstream media to create a narrative and the blind ambitions of industrial greed.
Whenever corporate tycoons and media magnates discovered their potential to elect and persuade government officials, an already degraded state saw large amounts of political power disappear from the majority seemingly overnight. However, as with most obscenities to the Republic, when realized by the people, the retaliation can be swift and even irrational.
An obvious sign a reclamation of power is occurring has been corporate media’s inability to construct an effective narrative, this presidential election season. Though viewership ratings are on par with 2008, the level of trust the audience has in their content is at all time lows. The people may still be watching, however they’re finding their direction in the public forums of social media and the internet.
Which is a justifiably frightening image for corporate media executives whose political power resides in the ability to create a probable scenario. The people are increasingly forgoing cable news for guidance, instead they’re restoring their Republic by seeking truths from each other.
The irony in the loss of political power for media magnates is the ‘race to the bottom’ theory that explains the decrease of wages in American jobs, will be the same theory that degrades their clout in the political arena. Corporate media endorsed trade agreements that placed American workers in direct competition with foreign entities that paid wages of less than a dollar per hour, therefore creating a ‘race to the bottom’ where American workers are gradually paid less and less. The theory also applies to corporate media in an internet based public forum, when fact and opinion can be delivered in real time virtually free and without bias, a for profit corporate media will increasingly struggle to compete.
Still, there is another indicator of a power grab by the people of the American Republic. The rise to power for Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders is a reflection of a 2015 Gallup poll that showed an astonishing 75% of Americans believe the government is corrupt. The commonality between Trump and Sanders is that both candidates were perceived as not beholden to special interests.
Trump described his campaign as self funded and Sanders fueled his with a staggering 8 million individual contributions. The people understand that the end of a corrupt government must begin with an unbeholden presidency and the bully pulpit it provides.
The pursuit of a restored Republic, where supreme power belongs to the people, will continue even in an irrational manner. Unless Trump commits an unpardonable sin between now and November, president elect will precede his name over Thanksgiving dinner this year. Corporate media can no longer construct an effective narrative and an overwhelming desire to end government corruption will produce this unreasonable outcome. It is because of this inevitability Hillary Clinton should concede her Democratic nomination to Bernie Sanders. She can blame it on her health, the FBI, Republicans, or whatever she chooses and know she gave her Republic a proper leader, instead of an orange haired opportunist who captured America in a bitter state.

The brainchild of the 1968 Democratic Convention may finally show its brilliance in 2016, when the unbound Democratic superdelegates upend pledged delegates and popular vote and choose their party’s nominee, thus holding the final firewall they were originated for.
Superdelegates were never intended to have a majority status. In reality, they only make up about 15% of the delegates available. And more often than not, their opinion isn’t relevant to the nomination.
However, the purpose of the minority power is not to elect a candidate. Rather, they were designed to prevent a loss in a general election, a proverbial safety valve to circumvent an obviously weak candidate.
This is the superdelegate’s role in the Democratic nomination process: they are independent judges that only emerge in marginal contests. Their function is to secure a nomination based upon available data and a completed primary map.
Their sole task is to identify and eliminate the candidate that controls a frenzied base, yet fails to connect outside of their stronghold.

Obvious vulnerabilities that would end any other candidate’s presidential bid are overlooked and dismissed by her loyalist support. Face it.
Whenever drastic unfavorability, distrust, and a possible FBI indictment fail to internally dismiss a party’s candidate, you’re not dealing with a potential nominee.

Still, it will take more than just the identification of a faction candidate for this unprecedented political coup to occur. The decision to overrule pledged delegates and popular vote also requires a general election map that is more favorable to the faction’s opposition. Fortunately for Democrats, the electoral map is indeed stronger for Hillary Clinton’s opponent Bernie Sanders.
Just by glancing at the 2008 and 2012 presidential election maps, the general election frailties of Clinton are clear. In order for a Democrat to claim victory in November, the candidate must be able to win in 3 geographical areas. They need to control the Northeast, the upper Midwest, and the entire west coast.
Both Sanders and Clinton would be able to maintain the Northeast; it is an undeniable fact. The further west that Sanders goes, the stronger he becomes and the weaker Clinton gets.
The last time the campaigns were on the west coast, Clinton lost the state of Washington by almost 50 points. Combine that with the possibility of losses in Ohio and Florida this November, and an objective evaluation of the general election map becomes crucial to the Democrats success.
However, even with most available data in favor of Sanders, in order for superdelegates to change ship at the convention, he must finish the primary race strong. The need for a convincing victory in California is paramount to this historical political coup.
This is why the support of Sanders cannot fade into the night. It must remain steadfast and burn it’s very hottest, on the doorsteps of Philadelphia, to have superdelegates write history.
The 2016 Democratic presidential primary is what superdelegates were created for.
If they were designed to vote along with their states or the popular vote, it would defeat their purpose and the visionary work of the McGovern-Frasier and later Hunt commissions.

Hillary Clinton has had a rough week.
What started out as a certain victory in hers and the media’s eyes turned into a nine-hour nightmare as polls began to close and the results trickled in.
Just two nights earlier, she received some welcome, if overdue, news that the FBI would not be pursuing further charges related to her email server from a batch of emails discovered on Anthony Weiner’s computer.
While the investigation into the Clinton Foundation remains open, it was one more obstacle cleared in the path to becoming the first woman to be elected President of the United States.
Then the blue wall began to crumble, and everything changed.
President-elect Trump made his first address to the American people at around 4 a.m. EST Wednesday morning. Hillary Clinton made her concession speech later that morning.
Since then, she has kept a low profile, and the conciliatory tone coming from Trump seemed to close the books on any infractions she might have committed with her email.
The newly elected did not seem like the same person, who said the words, “because you’d be in jail” to Clinton during the debates.
However, a new interview with prospective Cabinet member and possible Attorney General in the Trump administration Rudy Giuliani indicates the email fight is not over and an indictment is all but forthcoming.
Sean Hannity, on his nightly Fox News program, welcomed Giuliani and pressed him on the future of charges against Hillary Clinton.
“There’s certainly a case that could be made for it,” Giuliani told Hannity. He then pointed out the jail time against Martha Stewart for insider trading and Petty Officer First Class Kristian Saucier, who “took photos in the classified engine room of the nuclear submarine where he worked as a mechanic, the USS Alexandria, then destroyed a laptop, camera, and memory card after learning he was under investigation,” Politico observes.
An amused Hannity then observed,
“If I was Hillary Clinton, I would be scared to death” of an Attorney General Rudy Giuliani.
The former New York City Mayor laughed and teased,
“And you know I was an even better prosecutor than I was a Mayor,” reminding Hannity of his dismantling of the mafia during his time in New York.
Giuliani and Hannity have engaged in some heavy duty gloating since President-elect Trump pulled off the biggest political upset of all time.
Hannity was Donald Trump’s stomping ground during the primaries and the general election campaign, even when many conservatives in his own party had disavowed his nomination.
A certain degree of crowing is to be expected, but Hannity also pressed Giuliani on the “lock her up” promise during Wednesday’s broadcast.
Rudy Giuliani has expressed a desire to go after Hillary Clinton, and it’s pretty clear from watching the interviews what he would prefer.
That means the former Secretary of State has two options to stay out of court — one likely and one a bit of a long shot.
The likely scenario is that President Obama issues a pardon before he leaves office. If that happens, however, the Obama administration risks the appearance of corruption and “rigging” Donald Trump has accused them of.
The less likely scenario — that Trump himself calls off the dogs because he’s serious about healing the nation.

A cover-up was alleged. In 2000, an official report on ‘Travelgate’ decided that while some of Mrs Clinton’s statements were ‘factually false’ and that she had played a role in the sackings, there was insufficient evidence to support the laying of criminal charges against her.
She was able to continue her ultimately successful bid for a seat in the U.S. Senate.
The Whitewater affair
‘Whitewater’ was the key financial scandal of the Clinton presidency. Neither Bill nor Hillary were prosecuted — after three inquiries failed to find sufficient evidence to link them to the criminal conduct of others — but two of their associates and a partner in her law firm were jailed.
Another crony had to resign as Arkansas governor. Along the way, Mrs Clinton became the first-ever First Lady to have been subpoenaed to give evidence, and a close aide was found dead.
The Whitewater investigation by independent counsel Kenneth Starr would also expose Bill Clinton’s hectic sex life to the scrutiny of the world.
So what was it all about? In 1978, Bill was Arkansas attorney general and running for state governor. That year he and Hillary joined another couple, James and Susan McDougal, to borrow $203,000 to buy 220 acres in the Ozark mountains on which to build holiday homes. A company called the Whitewater Development Corporation was founded for the project.

Mr McDougal, who was briefly employed as an adviser by Clinton when he became governor, left politics to buy a bank. This bank lent Mrs Clinton $30,000 to build a show house on the Whitewater land.
In 1982, McDougal also bought a small finance company called Madison Guaranty. The firm’s struggles and failure would be central to the ensuing furore.
Along the way Mr McDougal’s firm hired Hillary Clinton’s law firm and raised funds for her husband’s political war chest. In 1989, Madison Guaranty collapsed. The federal government had to bail it out using $60 million of public money. Mr McDougal was indicted on fraud charges but acquitted.
The matter did not end there, however. With Bill Clinton’s election to the White House in 1992 interest in and allegations about Whitewater only increased.
In 1993, shortly after he had filed three years’ worth of Whitewater tax returns for the Clintons, deputy White House counsel Vince Foster was found dead in a Washington area park. Police ruled it suicide.
But there was speculation that persons unknown had removed files from Foster’s office shortly after his body was found.
James and Susan McDougal were subsequently charged with bank fraud and jailed. Arkansas governor Jim Tucker was convicted of fraud and given probation. The state’s assistant attorney general Webster Hubbell, also drawn into the affair, was jailed for an unrelated fraud.

In 1996, prosecutor Starr would subpoena her to answer questions about her law firm. But while she had to appear before a grand jury, and President Clinton had to give videotaped evidence to the Whitewater trials, both escaped criminal proceedings.

But hardly scot-free. The collateral damage to both their marriage and his reputation was huge.
The Arkansas ‘assaults’
In 1999, Juanita Broaddrick, a nursing home administrator, alleged that she had been raped by Bill Clinton in 1978 when he was Arkansas attorney general.
She would not speak about the incident again until January this year, when she tweeted: ‘I was 35 years old when Bill Clinton, Ark. Attorney General raped me and Hillary tried to silence me. I am now 73 . . . it never goes away.’
She subsequently appeared on a panel at one of the presidential debates with Donald Trump and other alleged Clinton victims.
Mr Clinton’s predatory approach to young females was first described by Paula Jones, an Arkansas state employee. She alleged that in 1991, aged 24, she had been sexually propositioned by the then governor Clinton in a Little Rock hotel room. He also exposed himself, she said.
In 1994, with Clinton by then in the White House, Ms Jones filed a claim for sexual harassment against him and demanded $750,000 in damages. The case dragged through the civil courts until November 1998, when the President settled for the amount she had demanded. There was no apology.
By then the affair had spun way out of Clinton’s control. In the course of the Jones litigation, her legal team had tried to establish that the President’s alleged behaviour was part of a pattern.
Among those subpoenaed was one Monica Lewinsky, a former White House intern.
She would initially deny in evidence any relationship. But the later Lewinsky testimony — which centred on an infamous semen-stained dress — and Bill Clinton’s pitiful semantics about what did and did not constitute sex, would lead to his impeachment.

In his deposition for the Paula Jones lawsuit, Clinton flatly denied ‘sexual relations’ with the then 22-year-old Californian Lewinsky.
Whitewater investigator Starr was informed otherwise by key witness Linda Tripp. He decided that the President had committed perjury. Later, before a grand jury, the President claimed that he thought ‘sexual relations’ did not include oral sex.
Clinton also made a humiliating televised statement, admitting to a ‘not appropriate’ relationship with the intern. A stone-faced Hillary stood by his side.

In fact, Miss Lewinsky would say that sex acts had taken place on nine occasions, including in the Oval Office, between 1995-97.

As the nation held its breath the President was acquitted at trial before the U.S. Senate. He would still be punished, however. A judge found Clinton in civil contempt of court in relation to his misleading testimony in the Paula Jones case.
He was fined and ordered to pay costs. In January 2001 the Arkansas Bar Association suspended President Clinton’s licence to practise for five years.
Wealth and the Clinton Foundation
Mired in legal fees from their run-ins with prosecutors, the Clintons set about making money from their White House years. And how they have succeeded. Private speeches for banks and other corporations at $250,000 a time have earned them a fortune, put at $150 million.
Much of this wealth has been poured into the family charity, the Clinton Foundation, which was established in 1997. Bill, Hillary and their daughter Chelsea are all directors and the foundation has been used as a vehicle for a number of global philanthropic projects.
But it has also come under fire for poor accounting, alleged cronyism and conflicts of interest, and has laid the Clintons open to accusations of undue influence by wealthy donors.
Mrs Clinton reportedly pulled in $22 million in advances for her memoirs. Tax returns showed the Clintons’ 2014 income at $28 million.
The epithet ‘Learjet liberals’ — aimed at the Clintons and their ilk — is not meant to be flattering. It suggests a disconnect with the American people that Donald Trump was only too successful in exploiting.

The Benghazi attack
On September 11, 2012, the American ambassador to Libya and three of his countrymen died during an assault by militants on the isolated U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Mrs Clinton, then Secretary of State, was accused by opponents of failing to protect U.S. installations and personnel. She knew the attacks were coming, they said, and did nothing.
The matter became a political football during Mrs Clinton’s bid for the Democratic presidential nomination. She had to testify before a House committee investigating the attack, but it failed to find a smoking gun which would damage her credibility as a leader.
But during the investigation another highly embarrassing matter concerning private emails came to light which would be seized upon by the Trump camp.
Once again she would be cleared of serious wrongdoing, but only at the 11th hour. The damage done to her campaign by this was possibly fatal, say some analysts.

It emerged that while Secretary of State, Mrs Clinton had been using a vulnerable private email server to send classified information. This was at best reckless, at worst criminally negligent.
In July, the FBI announced it would not recommend criminal charges. While she had been ‘extremely careless’, it looked as if Mrs Clinton was in the clear.
Then came the bombshell. Ten days before polling day, FBI director James Comey sent a letter to Congress to say that his bureau was reviewing yet another tranche of Clinton emails related to her use of the private server. Trump’s people seized gleefully on this as evidence of poor judgment.
On Sunday, however, Comey said the FBI had given the emails a clean bill of health. But many Democrats feel that by then the damage had been done in the eyes of the voters. The Clinton dream of a White House dynasty was over.
